Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia  (Hyundai) is offering its standard warranty terms across all machines excluding R800 and R1200, delivering greater peace of mind to customers.

According to After Sales Manager Shayne Keyes, Hyundai leads the industry in terms of supporting their customers with a three year, 6,000 hour warranty on wheel loaders and R140-9 to R520-9 excavators and a three year, 3,000 hour warranty on R16-9 to R80-9 mini excavators and skid steers.

Shayne explains that various manufacturers provide extended warranties that are often conditional, making it difficult for customers to get the support they need under warranty. Hyundai’s new warranty is standard across the range and is a full factory warranty.

Hyundai is able to offer this generous warranty with such confidence because of the quality and reliability of their machines.

Hyundai Australia representatives are regularly invited to meet with equipment designers in Korea to provide feedback on developing machines that can cope with the harsh Australian conditions without failing in harsh summers or cold winters.

Hyundai machines are designed to handle prolonged periods working in harsh conditions as well as temperature extremes from the 45-degree highs of the Pilbara mine fields to two-degree wet conditions in forestry applications in Tasmania.

Hyundai also maintains a high level of parts in stock, guaranteeing supply of over 99% of parts within five working days. The company has 25,000 product lines in stock, which translates to 300,000 individual parts at a value of more than $28 million here in Australia.

Hyundai’s global policy is to support the product with parts, which means spending money to stock parts that are rarely needed. Shayne adds that 40% of the parts kept in stock are just there for insurance in the rare event a customer needs them.
