Maxton Fox Furniture Systems worked with the architects, Bates Smart to design and manufacture a range of bespoke pieces for the new Boomerang Tower in Sydney.

Located on Olympic Boulevard, Olympic Park Sydney, Boomerang Tower – named after its boomerang shape – is a mixed use development featuring an on-grade car park, retail shops and tenancies, community centre and commercial offices, and a residential/ commercial tower rising up to 39 storeys. The boomerang design was architecturally created by Bates Smart Architects to achieve optimum solar orientation.

Completed in January 2019, the commercial wing houses the new headquarters of the Sydney Olympic Park Authority.

Maxton Fox was awarded the contract to work with Taylors Construction and Bates Smart to deliver detailed bespoke systems for the tower.

Maxton Fox designed and manufactured bespoke joinery, a reception counter, bespoke wall panelling, banquet seating, planter boxes, and lockers.
