Makinex powered hand trucks go national

    Makinex

First introduced in 2012, Makinex powered hand trucks have been quickly accepted within the rental industry for their versatility as well as safety in various equipment handling tasks.

Makinex powered hand trucks are used to effortlessly pick up small plant machinery, generators, plate compactors and compressors and load them into a variety of vehicles such as vans, station wagons or Utes. The powered hand truck is operated by a single person without strain.

Having observed the growing popularity of Makinex powered hand trucks among their staff and customers, Kennards Hire has now decided to roll out the equipment nationwide across all their stores.

Kennards Hire Branch Manager from Wollahra, James Alessi explained that he was involved with the trial conducted by Kennards on the powered hand trucks (Onelift) last year. The new model received by his branch has improved features that allow them to lift an extra 20kg.

The powered hand truck is used regularly around the branch lifting brick saws, generators and other small equipment. He adds that he no longer gets back pain from handling equipment at work.

A quick and easy alternative to a forklift or tailgate loader, Makinex powered hand trucks can be used anywhere including workshops, warehouses, factories, depots and hire and rental yards.
