Forbo Marmoleum and Artoleum from Forbo Flooring have been independently certified as meeting the requirements of the new Good Environmental Choice (GECA) standard GECA 25-2011-Floor Coverings.
Forbo’s floor coverings are among the first flooring products to be attributed a Good Environmental Choice label under GECA’s inaugural standards.
GECA is a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation established to recognise and promote environmental excellence in goods and services in Australia.
Recognised by the Green Building Council of Australia, GECA is also the Australian member of the Global Eco-labelling Network (GEN), an international network of national eco-labelling programs operating under ISO 14024.
Forbo Marmoleum floor coverings are made of 100% bio-based materials and carry more third-party, independent, LCA based environmental certifications than any other flooring material.
