Global hydraulics leader Enerpac will showcase a broad range of powerful bolting tools and hydraulic lifting technology at the upcoming Asia-Pacific International Mining Exhibition, AIMEX 2015 in Sydney from 1-4 September.

Operating across the world including Australasia and the Asia-Pacific, the high force hydraulics leader will showcase Slimline bolting cassettes and backing spanners, Pow’R-LOCK auto-locking jack and stand as well as its comprehensive ranges of safety-focussed non-impact bolting technologies, and durable and efficient hydraulic cylinders and pumps. Enerpac will also introduce its new Level Lift for safe and synchronous lifting from multiple points as well as the new S&W X-Edition series torque wrenches at the AIMEX.

Specialist staff will be on hand at AIMEX to discuss the advanced technologies employed in recent major projects. Enerpac Australia’s Mining Manager Mr Warren Baltineshter will introduce the new Level Lift and demonstrate the Pow’R-LOCK.

Level Lift system

A fully configured and assembled system consisting of a ZE4 pump, hoses, gauges and cart, Enerpac’s LL-Series Level Lift system is designed for safe and even lifting and lowering of unbalanced loads. The modular design of the Level Lift system allows versatile application in the mining, construction, power generation and oil and gas markets. Key applications include equipment maintenance on excavators, material handlers, dozers, trucks, bridge construction and maintenance, slab lifts and turbine installation and maintenance. The robust yet simple design allows operators of the Level Lift System to control up to four lift points at one time without complicated electronics or sensors at each lift point.

Pow’R-LOCK

Enerpac’s PL-Series Pow’R-LOCK portable lifting system with full-time locking capability is designed and purpose-built to provide safe and secure lifting for heavy off-highway machinery including haul trucks and large industrial equipment. Pow’R-LOCK accomplishes its load-holding protection by utilising a control system that maintains the position of a rotating locking collar near the cylinder base, providing a mechanical lock regardless of cylinder movement and control cycle. The heavy-duty lifting system integrates into a rugged mobile cart with a high capacity and compact 700 bar hydraulic cylinder and an air-driven hydraulic pump unit with complete valving and control systems.

S&W X-Edition Series torque wrenches

The latest X-Editions of Enerpac’s S square drive and W series low profile hexagon cassette series feature a stronger, safer and more durable connection between tool body and manifold, along with a dual plane swivel manifold that incorporates interlocking arms to increase robustness and safety. Both the torque wrenches also feature tough upgraded handles with a one-piece design incorporating metal inlays for positive location, as well as an optional ergonomic straight handle design to ensure safety and avoid potential pinch point situations for operators.

Slimline bolting cassettes and backing spanners

The compact, durable and simply maintained UltraSlim torque wrenches (part of the Slimline range) are designed for general limited access applications in the oil and gas, mining, energy and infrastructure sectors including onshore and offshore drilling rigs and blowout preventers. Complementing Enerpac’s globally proven W hexagon and S square drive torque wrenches, the new UltraSlim torque wrenches feature a tapered design, narrow radius and top-mounted handle to help facilitate access to very tight spaces.

Backing spanners with screw adjustment are easily deployed as a compact alternative to flogging spanners to help stop nuts slipping on applications such as flanges, machinery joints and mobile plant and vehicle maintenance in resources and energy plants, oil and gas sites and construction, manufacturing, fabrication and maintenance operations.

Non-impact professional bolting equipment

Enerpac’s comprehensive range of mechanical and hydraulic bolting equipment provides precise and effective force for greater productivity, safety, and performance. Designed to streamline many of Australasian industry’s most common, time-consuming and potentially hazardous maintenance and fabrication tasks, the Enerpac family of non-impact bolting tools includes hydraulic torque wrenches and torque wrench pumps, nut splitters, flange spreaders and alignment tools engineered to complete the most difficult bolting jobs with the degree of safety and accuracy demanded in today's work environment.

Enerpac’s high performance hydraulic bolt tensioners facilitate faster, safer and more precise maintenance and fabrication operations. The GT-Series universal bolt tensioners, available in capacities up to 2845kN (320 ton) at 1500 bar are particularly suitable where operators want to achieve known and accurate bolt loads across multiple applications, such as pipelines and flanges.

Hydraulic cylinders and pumps

Lighter, quieter, safer, more powerful and more efficient in use, Enerpac’s hydraulic and mechanical technology includes its comprehensive range of pumps and cylinders.

ULTIMA two-speed hand pumps feature an innovative design that provides greater ease-of-use with handle effort reduced by up to 20 percent without compromising speed or performance. The pump’s two-speed operation means the faster first stage can be used to quickly position the plunger of the hydraulic cylinder where it is needed, before employing the powerful second stage (700-2800 bar, 10,000-40,000 PSI) to do the heavy work.

RC Duo hydraulic cylinders from Enerpac optimise extension capabilities while minimising retraction times to get jobs done faster and with outstanding reliability and safety. The compact and powerful high pressure 700 bar RC Duo cylinders, available in capacities from 5-95 tons and long-stroke models typically from 156-362mm, are part of Enerpac’s RC general purpose cylinder family, one of the world’s most widely used compact, powerful and ruggedly versatile high-pressure cylinder ranges.
