The BT90 louvre system was introduced by EBSA in response to the improved thermal performance required of facades in the National Construction Code (NCC 2019).

EBSA’s SLS BT90 louvre system utilises thermal breaks in both the perimeter louvre framing and the blade holder to achieve the best thermal rating of any louvre system on the Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS) database.

Introduced to the Australian market in 2012, the thermally broken double glazed louvres represent a significant advancement in technology, backed by years of local and international experience.

The BT90 successfully achieved 800pa water resistance and passed positive and negative air leakage tests, making it suitable for air-conditioned buildings. The NATA certification to AS2047 in various configurations further solidifies the louvre system’s competence in the market.

The BT90 comes with the option of the LDS 1400 and 1800 digital louvre drive, known for its exceptional quietness, as well as an anti-pinch feature for child safety, making it an ideal commercial solution for educational buildings.
