Manufactured by Dictator Direct in Europe and available from Door Closer Specialist in Australia, Direkt gate closers feature a controlled gate closing action that not only prevents slamming but also reduces the danger of injury when installed in public access areas.
As the gate is opened, the piston rod is compressed. Once the user is through and the gate has been let go, the piston rod extends as the pressure of the nitrogen gas inside is released, with the gate automatically closing behind the user.
Suitable for a variety of gate designs, the Direkt gate closers have an adjustable closing speed and adjustable closing force. The gate closers are easy to install, provided the gate is designed in accordance with the installation requirements.
Gate requirements to install Direkt gate closers:
- Max gate weight: 50kg
- Max gate width: 1200mm
- Max gate opening: 110 degrees
- Closer must be installed on pull side of the gate
- Gate must be flush with post if it is hinged off on the pull side
