Tony Jones, a Western Australian based artist, was commissioned to design and install five Digiglass panels, 1500mm wide x 3960mm long as a decorative element to the Kelmscott train station, Perth.

The designs revolved around native animals and were manufactured using the DuPont soft white interlayer with 2 pieces of 6mm toughened glass. Each panel was lifted into place and secured in position using 8 pin fittings through 24mm diameter holes.

The DuPont soft white interlayer was chosen for its ability to highlight the art work equally from either side of the station.

The installation looks attractive and once again demonstrates the advantages of using Digiglass in a harsh environment.
