Delta Neon Pty Ltd is helping to bring the landmark Skipping Girl neon sign back to life. The famous neon illuminated sign has been a part of Melbourne since 1936.

Electrical and structural problems caused the neon sign to break down in 2001. Delta Neon are repairing its electronics and installing new neon tubing to return the sign to its former glory.

The project is being carried out with money which was raised by the National Trust of Australia, Heritage Victoria, Melbourne Heritage Restoration Fund and the energy firm, AGL.

They will provide annual maintenance funding and energy to power ‘Little Audrey’ with AGL Green Energy, which is the retailer’s 100% GreenPower accredited product, over the next five years.

Delta Neon is proud to be a part of restoring this iconic sign. They are giving the old girl plenty of much needed attention and bringing back memories of ‘Little Audrey’ skipping away over Melbourne's skyline.
