The redevelopment of Zen Oasis, a secluded resort in the midst of the NSW Southern Highlands, saw DecoClad being specified for the exterior cladding, reinforcing the rustic look of the stunning property.
Well-known as an idyllic venue for weddings, conferences and events, the resort is built on 100 acres of land offering scenic country views, and features a rustic design that complements the historic village of Berrima located in the vicinity.
A popular destination since 1948, Zen Oasis was redeveloped in 2021 to allow the resort to grow and move into a new era while still embodying the serene countryside vibe. The updated resort features a new restaurant, kitchen, function area and conference building along with fresh landscaping and new features.
Executed by Rohrig, the redevelopment also saw all the exterior walls of the new complex cladded in stylish DecoClad Narrowline. A stunning timber look aluminium cladding product, DecoClad provides the rustic, rural appearance of a timber barn, with the added durability and non-combustibility of solid aluminium equipped to withstand the risks of bushfires, snow or any other weather condition that could impact the Southern Highlands. The Natural Silky Oak woodgrain finish offers soft, warm hues that reinforce the feel of a woodland paradise.
