Cosentino, global leader in the stone industry and pioneer in innovative and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design, has opened its second City Centre in the Oceania region.

Spread over 535 square metres, the showroom will be a hub where industry professionals can connect and streamline their design process with the use of the ateliers, the anchor of the Cosentino City experience.

Cosentino City Melbourne

Located at 460 Collins Street, Melbourne, in the ex-National Australia Bank chambers, Cosentino City Melbourne honours the history of the building with the additions of new, in-trend styles that take advantage of the pre-existing ceiling height details that give the space a feeling of grandeur and luxury. With a grand entrance, two Ateliers, a Bathelier, a live kitchen, and multiple meeting rooms, there is a space fit for everyone and their design needs.

“Something that Cosentino City Centres offer that other showrooms don’t is our Ateliers. These are designed to inspire designers, architects and homeowners but also support and facilitate their actual design process. We have a range of samples from complementary brands and suppliers, which means we essentially have a working library,” says Antonia Anderson, City Centre Melbourne Manager.

Cosentino City Melbourne features all the characteristics and functionalities of a City, marked by digitalisation, personalised service, and a 360-degree view of projects. The ‘City’ showcases the innovative philosophy of these Cosentino spaces, designed to offer architects, designers, interior designers, drafters, and homeowners the opportunity to get to know the wide range of products and solutions from the company through its brands Dekton, Sensa, and Scalea by Cosentino.

Throughout the showroom, various applications of Dekton are present, through flooring, wall cladding, washbasins and shower trays. “It really gives the client a much deeper insight and understanding to the scale that we operate and the products we have to offer. We have done this consistently throughout the showroom, so wherever the client looks they will see one of our products being used, not only displayed,” explains Anderson.

The City Melbourne held its ‘Between Desert and Sea’ Grand Opening with the attendance of over 300 key clients, collaborators, and architecture and design professionals from the country. On behalf of the company were present Eduardo Cosentino, EVP Global Sales, Alvaro Gonzalez Gonzalez, APAC Sales VP, Itay Shimony, Oceania Sales VP, Maria Fernandez Castiñeiras, APAC Marketing Manager, Iain Whyley, National Builders Sales Director and Victorian General Manager, and Antonia Anderson, City Centre Melbourne Manager.
