Britex was engaged by Macedon Ranges Shire Council to supply a range of vandal resistant certified sanitary fixtures to the Hanging Rock Toilet Block. Britex’s vandal resistant range is constantly specified for public amenities and is a popular and reliable option for Council applications.

The sanitary fixtures supplied for this project included Britex stainless steel Sanistep urinal, specified for its hygiene and ease of cleaning; Britex stainless steel push button cistern and Britex flush pipe kit paired with the above Sanistep urinal; Britex stainless steel vandal resistant Grandeur hand basin complete with Britex Eco timed flow push button tapware; and accessible fixtures such as a Britex accessible hand basin complete with compliant lever activated timed flow tapware, adjacent stainless steel shelf and framed mirror to the compliant size of 450x1000mm.

A rare volcanic formation near the townships of Woodend and Mount Macedon, Hanging Rock, or Mount Diogenes is located an hour’s drive from Melbourne, and is a popular community spot for picnics, gatherings, events and functions.

The Hanging Rock Toilet Block was built by Stokes Rousseau Pty Ltd with John Doolan of Britex serving as the project manager.
