True Projects, the builders, chose Bildspec’s Konnect double glazed operable walls for Data#3’s office fitout to separate adjacent boardrooms from each other as well as from a parallel kitchen and breakout area. These operable acoustic walls serve as office partitions while allowing for see-through connection of all three spaces with acoustic reduction properties.
These remote-stacking glass operable acoustic walls allow Data#3 greater flexibility by being able to increase or reduce the size of their boardrooms at will, or incorporate them as part of a larger breakout room or multipurpose breakout space when required.
Bildspec’s operable walls allow a limited transfer of sound between spaces and recently achieved a 48Rw acoustic rating when tested for their acoustic performance at CSIRO’s acoustic testing facilities in Clayton, Victoria.
