Bildspec operable walls were installed at the church at Uniting Aldersgate in Lilyfield, NSW to enable flexible use of their spaces. While one operable wall was installed in a multipurpose activity room, another separated the activity room from the lounge/waiting area.

Bildspec’s operable walls are often utilised to allow churches greater flexibility with their banquet and entertainment spaces, through the creation of rooms of any size that cater for the needs of the day. A single large area can be turned into multiple smaller spaces, and vice versa. With acoustic capabilities, operable walls allow a limited transfer of sound from the external space into the smaller individual space.

The Uniting Aldersgate church project was beautifully designed by Thomson Adsett and expertly built by Stephen Edwards Construction. The Series 100 operable acoustic walls included double-glazed IGUs as viewing panels, surrounded by a Laminex Elegant Oak finish.
