Arborgreen Landscape Products  has released an underground guying technology it believes is the most unobtrusive method for supporting large root balled trees.

Greenleaf Root Ball Guying system of securing trees has many advantages over staking and is especially suitable for large root ball trees as well as small.

The root ball is held in position by driving three anchors into the base of the tree pit and then fastening a ratchet strap.

By using a ratchet strapped system, Greenleaf Root Ball Guying system allows the entire unit to be re-tensioned at a later date.

Greenleaf Root Ball Guying system is also preferable to above-ground guying, where exposed cables create a hazard for pedestrians.

Greenleaf Root Ball Guying system is designed for trees in urban environments. Greenleaf Root Ball Guying system is an effective and out-of-sight method of tying trees in preference to staking, and allows root systems to establish without damage caused by wind-throw.

Strapping will not cut the root ball, therefore no mats or timber are required.
