Allegion worked with Digital Document Services (DDS) and the Make a Difference Program to extend support to the great work done by the Afri-Aus Care organisation within the local Melbourne community.

Allegion was able to do this simply by replacing their aging fleet of printers during 2021, with some of that cost used to fund local Victorian charities through the Make a Difference Program.

In April 2022, Allegion worked with the program donating $4,000 to Afri-Aus Care to provide food assistance to often disadvantaged members of the Melbourne community. With the rising costs of living, in particular food, the donation was well received by the community and helped towards providing fresh food to African migrant families located in Melbourne.

“It is fantastic to be able to turn everyday business practices into something positive for our community,” says Allegion marketing director Craig Patterson. “By continuing to live our values of help others, not yourself and do the right thing, the entire Allegion team is able to make helpful changes to peoples’ lives.”
