Welcome to the 2021 Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards
In 2021, we at Lysaght are celebrating 100 years of manufacturing our range of steel building products in Australia.
Over the intervening years since 1921, the LYSAGHT® range of steel building products have helped architects, designers and builders shape our country’s built environment, providing structures that have housed, sheltered and protected generations of Australians.
Now in it’s fourth year, the 2021 Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards once again seeks to identify and acknowledge examples of Australian architecture and building designs that prominently feature LYSAGHT® steel building products.
This year’s awards feature four categories open to all practicing architects and building designers. A conceptual building design category is also open to students and recent graduates of architecture & building design*.
The awards categories are:
- Celebrating CUSTOM ORB® – acknowledging design using our flagship CUSTOM ORB® corrugated profile, manufactured in Australia for 100 years.
- Commercial and Industrial Design – celebrating design in public, sporting, institutional, educational, retail and office buildings.
- Residential Design – recognising design in new houses, multi-residential buildings, alterations, additions, heritage, restoration and aged care dwellings.
- Regional Design – acknowledging building design in regional Australia
- Student Category – open to conceptual building projects featuring LYSAGHT® steel building products design by current students and recent graduates of architecture and building design*.
Projects may be entered in multiple awards categories.
