Architectural Glass & Cladding is a supplier of bespoke, high performance architectural façade solutions, with over 15 years of industry experience throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Sourcing the highest quality glass and cladding products from local as well as international manufacturers located in Europe, South East Asia and North America, Architectural Glass & Cladding (AG&C) partners with architects, designers, fabricators, engineers and various building professionals to tailor custom façade solutions that achieve the perfect balance of form and function on every building project.

AG&C’s suite of glass and façade systems combines aesthetics with high performance to deliver solutions that meet the brief for sun control, noise insulation, thermal properties, energy savings and sustainability.

In a recent project at the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), AG&C collaborated with FDC Construction & Fitout, Hi Tec Windows and Architectus to provide the unique bronzed SEFAR façade. AG&C’s glazed curtain wall with SEFAR fabric interlayer takes on a shallow V-shape to provide a dynamic backdrop to the two heritage buildings. Covering an area of 4,642 square metres, the installation was the first large scale glazed curtain wall project in Australia to utilise SEFAR fabric.

Working with FDC during the tender period, AG&C utilised their expertise in façade and curtain wall systems to help streamline the procurement, manufacturing and delivery process. SEFAR fabric was combined with a Triple Low E-glass in an IGU build-up to provide optimum performance and meet stringent façade requirements. Being a non-homogenous product, SEFAR displays characteristics that are different from conventional façade materials, providing a 3D façade as it changes colours in the sunlight.

Leveraging their longstanding relationships with their partners GnT Glass and SEFAR, along with valuable inputs from FDC Constructions & Fitout and Hi Tec Windows, AG&C ensured timely delivery of the glazed curtain walls at the site.

The 6-level FASS building combines sustainable materials, optimum solar orientation, daylight harvesting and acoustic orientation along with potential for solar energy capture and water harvesting for greywater recycling to deliver an efficient, cost-effective and low maintenance environment.

AG&C’s products have also been installed at Monash University Learning and Teaching Building, The Peter Doherty Institute at University of Melbourne, The Melbourne Conservatory of Music, Hong Kong Art Museum, and The Shard Entry Eastlands Shopping Centre Ringwood among many more.
