An aesthetically stunning kitchen installed by Brisbane-based Designer Kitchens brings together a natural stone and an engineered stone to create a visually dramatic effect.
Designed by award-winning designer Marc Silcock, the kitchen features Smartstone Amara on the benchtop with New York Marble used for the splashback. Marc chose Smartstone Amara not just for its durability and cost-effectiveness but also for the natural look he wanted to achieve in the design.
Amara is one of the premium colours in the Smartstone veined collection, offering a soft, random grey vein on a white background.
Key highlights of the Marc Silcock-designed kitchen also include the illuminated New York Marble perfectly complementing the timber flooring and black cabinetry; and a mirrored kickboard with a spectacular floating effect. The 80mm Amara island bench featuring an undermount sink and an Inca mixer tap is ideal for food preparation and large enough for informal dining.
