Lafarge Plasterboard is taking part in designEX from 13th to 15th April 2011 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Visitors to this year’s exhibition will be able to see a range of Lafarge products, including MastaShield ECO and FireShield ECO at stand 1140.
FireShield ECO and MastaShield ECO are GECA incorporate the benefits of conventional plasterboard systems. They are light weight, recyclable, and high performance. In addition, they carry independent environmental product certification, to GECA Panel Board Standard 04-2007 and are suitable for green star or sustainable building projects.
These plasterboards are suitable for commercial and residential applications. MastaShield ECO is recommended for standard wall and ceiling systems, while FireShield ECO should be used for areas where a fire rating and good sound insulation performance are needed.
These two products may be substituted into over 30 standard and 140 fire rated and sound insulation systems published in the Tech Manual.
As well as showcasing their product range, Lafarge Plasterboard will be presenting a case study at Studio 2 - Architectural Radar in designEX on Thursday, 14th April at 2.45pm.
This 30 minutes case study will show how MastaDeco successfully provided a premium Level 4+ Finish for internal walls and ceilings in residential and commercial projects where light conditions are predominant.
