A heavy crane truck was able to cross a lush fairway at Concord Golf Course without damaging the turf thanks to linked ground protection mats hired from Kennards Hire Groundcare division. The crane truck was required to lift components of a new stormwater collection system into place.
When fitted together, the linked ground protection mats create a stable, temporary, non-slip road that is capable of withstanding loads of up to 50 tonne.
The linked ground protection mats are made from 12.5 mm thick polyethylene and joined with double link locks or handy hooks. The ground protection mats are available in a selection of sizes.
