Vitrastone from Fairview will be showcased at the upcoming DesignBuild exhibition in Sydney next month.

Visitors to DesignBuild, being held in Sydney from 3-5 May, will be able to see first-hand the innovative natural stone cladding system as well as understand the many advantages it has over traditional dimensional stone.

Currently being installed on Kings Domain in Melbourne, Vitrastone is drawing considerable interest from the industry for its realistic appearance, lightweight characteristics as well as versatility. Vitrastone offers the look and feel of dimensional stone at almost a quarter of the weight, reducing the required thickness of an overall wall build and cladding, and allowing for significant cost-savings with framing, installation and any material shipping and handling. The lighter weight also allows for a streamlined wall framing system.

Vitrastone is composed of an aluminium honeycomb substrate and aviation grade epoxies, and finished with a natural stone laminate layer. The prefabricated material is installed with a simple fixing system.

Fairview is showcasing its products on Stand B36 in the Structural & Materials section of the exhibition hall at DesignBuild.
