    SJB appoints new Melbourne-based director

    Fiona Coakley has been appointed as the director of SJB Architects’ Melbourne studio.

    Earning her degree in architectural technology from Cork University in Ireland and a BSc from Edinburgh Napier University, Coakley has worked on a variety of projects across Australia, the Middle East and Ireland, including on a number of Melbourne projects such as Southbank, 8 Burnley Street, and the award-winning residential project, Camberwell Ltd in Camberwell.

    “Working across different sectors for a great range of outcomes has taught me the importance of collaboration and working with my teams and clients to deliver excellence,” says Coakley.

    “Fiona is an extraordinary asset to this talent, she is adept at coordinating all aspects of the process, always delivering high quality outcomes whilst striving to exceed expectations of all stakeholders,” says founding SJB director Michael Bialek.
