The Sustainability Live CPD event will comprise seven panels in a Q & A format that is designed to allow the audience to ask questions and interact with the various speakers and moderators on what will be a jam-packed day of information and discussion.

Held at The Star in Sydney's Pyrmont, the second panel of the day will be: What are the incentives for sustainability and are we missing the bigger picture?

The questions that this panel intends to answer are:

  • How dwelling design will help solve the housing problem in Australia
  • Should planning restrictions on dwelling size and typology be relaxed?
  • Do we need more social housing and how will this help sustainability in the built environment?
  • What about Nightingale-style building concepts - are they the solution?

This panel is designed to answer a fundamental question about sustainability in the built environment: that is, are we looking at sustainability the right way or are we missing the bigger picture?

Kicking off at 9.40 in the morning, this panel will be of interest to anyone that is in the business of designing, specifying or building or designing any form of residential housing in Australia.
