Bluescope’s resolute commitment to the environment and its natural resources is similar to that of an architect worthy of taking out the Lifetime Achievement category at the Sustainability Awards. The award is a celebration of those who have looked to remain at the forefront of the built environment, being influential in thought, word and deed in a lengthy career serving the industry.

The Lifetime Achievement Award is open to an individual, design firm or building products company and presented in recognition of outstanding leadership and contribution to the field of sustainability for more than 15 years. This may be a new product innovation, new knowledge, or new ways to improve a design that has been deemed to be above and beyond the everyday with a long lasting impact in the built sector.

The Jury will assess how a candidate has provided leadership within the profession, helped to advance sustainability in Australia, and worked on projects that adopt sustainable design principles. Given the business model adopted by Bluescope, partnering with the Lifetime Achievement category isn’t only the right decision, it was the logical one.

2022 shapes up as another sensational addition to the Sustainability Awards, with the Winner’s List a certainty to contain a number of personnel and projects dedicated to the sustainable cause. Submit yours here.
