WoodSolutions is organising a seminar in August to address issues related to the fire rating compliance of timber buildings.

Providing the appropriate evidence to support fire rated solutions used in construction is a common matter for all building materials and designs. Timber buildings, mass timber (CLT, GLT and LVL) and timber frame are no different except they represent a new form of construction that does not yet have a range of products and solutions.

To be held in Surry Hills, Sydney on 29th August 2018, the half-day event, Timber Building Fire Rating Compliance Seminar, will feature presenters who will address the pathway for deemed-to-satisfy compliance of timber buildings, how fire rating can be assigned to timber building solutions, and available solutions within the marketplace.

WoodSolutions recommends this seminar to all building and design professionals considering a timber building design, including architects, engineers, building designers, certifiers, developers, builders, regulators and educators.

Timber product and service suppliers will also be on hand to advise and assist with the implementation of timber solutions.

The Timber Building Fire Rating Compliance Seminar will be held on 29th August 2018 at 37 Reservoir St, Surry Hills (12.30pm - 5.00pm).

The event is free for all design and building professionals.

CPD certificates of attendance available for all professions. Four (4) formal CPD points available for architects.
