Case Study: Vibrant Wilsonart laminated wall murals take Canberra school students on a space journey

    Wilsonart®

Wilsonart Australia customised a series of laminated wall murals for the Hawker Primary School in Canberra to brighten up the school’s walls. The highly colourful and vibrant laminated boards are already proving a big success among pupils, parents and staff at the school with their laminated planetary wall murals and other spectacular custom laminate corridor designs stimulating the youngsters’ imaginations.

Principal Mandy Kalyvas is delighted with the project’s design outcomes, commenting that the school’s management ‘couldn’t be happier’ with their sensational new walls. She said Wilsonart was selected for the project for the incredible print quality of their wall murals as well as their high levels of customer service.

Created from stock images, and measured and enhanced by Canberra based Benchmarc Kitchen & Joinery for the Hawker School, the design was digitally printed and pressed into sheets using a high pressure laminating process by the Wilsonart team.

Wilsonart’s impressive quality of this custom laminate process appeals in particular to architects and interior designers because the decorative custom laminated sheets can be applied to a whole range of applications including tables, doors, reception counters, worktops and desks, as well as walls and panels.

Wilsonart International, a global supplier of high pressure laminates, compact laminates, low pressure melamine and speciality laminate designs, is exclusively distributed in Australia by HVG Decorative Building Products.
