Ambience Series roller blinds from Verosol Australia were installed at the School of Medicine, Flinders University to assist building users control the entry of sunlight through the large glazed facade.

Designed by architect Grieve Gillett, the new building consisted of multipurpose small as well as large learning areas. The building facade had large glazed elements facing the east and west.

The client’s brief sought a sun control system that would remain low maintenance over a long period of commercial use; and allow multiple users in the learning environment to control the sunlight with user-friendly remote control.

Verosol (SA) Pty Ltd supplied and installed roller blinds from their Ambience Twin Roller Series featuring 231 Veroscreen G3 semi-transparent fabric in light colours.

Verosol’s motorised roller blinds were integrated with wireless remote control motors and wall mounted switches, to control the blinds separately or as a group. The fabric offered excellent easy clean properties.
