Roller blinds from Verosol Australia in semi-transparent and non-transparent fabric were installed in an office fitout project at the AMP Building in Sydney, NSW.

Designed by Peddle Thorp & Walker and Watermark Architects, the office building was constructed to house several high profile commercial tenants. The building faced North over the harbour, exposing its facade to excessive glare from the sun.

The roller blinds sought as a solution for the glare needed to feature fabric with a backing that delivered quality glare control and excellent view through the windows. The fabric also needed to offer a choice of colours so that individual offices within the building could select a preferred colour for their interiors without affecting the building’s external appearance.

Under the supervision of facade contractor Hugh Meagher & Assoc., roller blinds from Verosol’s Ambience series were installed in the building. The installation comprised of 1400 roller blinds featuring 812 Originals Semi Transparent fabric and 1400 roller blinds in 878 Originals Non Transparent fabric.

Verosol’s spring assisted chain operated mode roller and metal backed Trevira CS roller blind fabrics were used in the AMP Building installation.
