Watersave Australia introduces the Uridan Crew, a new range of waterless
trough urinals designed to meet the challenges of high traffic amenities. Watersave
is the Australian and New Zealand distributor of Uridan waterless urinals.
Synonymous with great Danish design, unique functionality and improved sustainability,
Uridan now offers architects and property owners a new line of stylish and user-friendly
trough urinals designed to achieve high water and energy savings and also
ensure simplified cleaning and maintenance regimes.
The Uridan Crew is recommended for installation in commercial facilities
such as clubs, schools, convention centres, entertainment venues, and leisure
and sports centres.
Available in a range of sizes (1200, 1800 and 2400mm lengths) and
colours, Uridan Crew offers the perfect solution for any commercial washroom
build.
The Uridan Crew waterless trough urinals offer a simple amenities
solution with the assurance of considerable reduction in water consumption and
energy; lower cost of purchase and installation (no requirement for pipework
and flushing mechanisms); lower cost of ownership; environmental benefits; improved
corporate image through environmentally responsible product selection; and asset
value increase due to environmental product selection in buildings.
Simple to install, the Uridan Crew does not require pipework for
flushing mechanisms, or sensors, timers, solenoids, washers and valves,
creating significant savings during installation. A conventional single bowl
urinal will flush away an average of 60,000 litres of clean drinking water per
year, whereas the award-winning Uridan urinal requires no water for flushing,
helping to achieve water savings of up to 180,000 - 200,000 litres for a 2400mm
trough urinal per year.
Watersave Australia Managing Director Paul Marsh
explains that the Uridan range delivers a simple solution for architects and
property owners seeking a combination of environmental performance, operating
cost benefits and great design.
