Shoalhaven City Council and Timbercrete build a sustainable house project

    Timbercrete

Timbercrete  Products has initiated the building of a sustainable house project in Nowra. Shoalhaven Council has supported the project and encouraged many local businesses to get involved and display their own environmentally friendly products in the sustainable home. This is an ideal opportunity for local businesses, including Timbercrete Products, to showcase their sustainable products and ideas to the wider community.

Timbercrete building masonry fits the description of ecologically sustainable perfectly. The masonry is made from recycled timber waste and other raw materials like sand, clay and cement. Its unique composition provides up to six times the thermal insulation of conventional bricks, resulting in a vast reduction of heating and cooling costs. Timbercrete's building blocks also store carbon gas, making them extremely environmentally friendly.
