The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) recently supplied their folding security shutters to secure the latest storefront for Aelia Duty Free at Noumea’s International Airport in New Caledonia.
Aelia Duty Free is a division of global travel retail leader Lagardere Travel Retail, which operates 4400 retail shops across the world focussing on duty free and fashion, travel essentials and foodservice primarily in airports and railway stations. Lagardere has a footprint in 34 countries, generating worldwide sales in excess of €4.5 billion.
ATDC’s folding security shutters were specified by the Noumea-based Amaury Peillon from interior design studio Atelier-numerique.me.
ATDC’s S04 model was selected for the installation for its ability to span wide expanses without any top track or floor track, eliminating the need for cumbersome removable floor tracks or removable mullions, and allowing the customer seamless lock up solutions.
With its compact storage requirement when open, the S04 allows maximum unobstructed floor space in the store for merchandising and presentation.
