The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has extended its comprehensive product range with the addition of a new 150mm slimline panel accordion door. The launch of ATDC’s model FC2 follows on the broad success of its wide body 300mm FC1 accordion door.

The new FC2 accordion door is designed for installations where the pocket width for a particular opening is restricted, and therefore, unsuitable for the wide body panel of the FC1. The slimline FC2 is also ideal for situations where the accordion door needs to traverse extremely tight radius turns. One of the world’s finest commercial closures ever launched on the Australian market, the accordion door is the result of many years of research and development.

The precision engineered slimline accordion door from ATDC is manufactured from extruded aluminium sections operating through a series of interlocking hinges and heavy duty top wheel carriages to create the low friction sliding and folding action of the door.

Combining strength, style and excellent corrosion resistance, ATDC’s new FC2 accordion doors are designed for the discerning business owner. Key features include seamless up/down locking mechanisms; architecturally rolled curved configurations; ability to accommodate a 90-degree turn through a 405mm radius and even traverse an S-bend aperture where required; and professional natural anodised finish as standard with optional powder-coated finish (from the Dulux range).

Curtain infill options include polycarbonate, toughened glass, solid aluminium, aluminium vertical rods or perforated mesh infill.

ATDC’s accordion doors are sold in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Darwin as well as in all regional centres and towns across Australia including Newcastle, Geelong, Woolongong, Cairns and Townsville.

The doors are powder-coated black to blend in with 2XU’s corporate colours and installed at a height of 4500mm, the maximum height for the FC2 model. The doors are stacking on a 90-degree curve through a 600mm radius turn.
