The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has introduced a new high impact resistant traffic door to its suite of quality commercial and industrial doors. The launch of the new traffic door indicates ATDC’s intent to diversify further into the Australian industrial door market.
Initially available in the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra markets, the new TD001 traffic doors are designed to provide a barrier between two areas and open by impact from either side. The doors also close automatically from either direction.
Traffic doors speed up the movement of people and stock between parts of a building as they avoid the need to stop, open, move through and manually close as required for traditional doors. After passing through, the door automatically swings shut.
Available as single or double doors, the double action 180-degree swing doors can withstand impact from trolleys, pallet jacks or forklifts in diverse industrial and commercial applications exposed to high traffic flows including coldrooms, supermarkets, retail stores, commercial kitchens, pharma labs, hospitals, surgeries, workshops and warehouses.
Key features of ATDC’s TD001 traffic doors include heavy duty construction with high density PU foam core and optional double glazed polycarbonate window (with a fully moulded gasket seal); effective temperature control tool; excellent barrier against entry of dust, insects and other airborne nuisances; optional kick plates or teardrop bumpers in stainless steel or polyethylene with choice of black, grey or yellow finish; and virtually maintenance-free service.
The traffic doors are customised to suit each application up to a maximum size of 3000mm wide x 3000mm high. The doors come with an anodised aluminium door stile that can be powder-coated optionally on the frames.
