The Australian Trellis Door Company presents smart security doors
suitable for 24-hour retailers and stores.
The unique range of ‘smart’ security doors and security
shutters from The Australian Trellis Door Co (ATDC) is preferred by retailers for
several reasons including cost effectiveness; aesthetic appeal, being almost
invisible during trading hours; and ability to overcome egress restrictions applicable
under the Building Code of Australia.
The smart security barriers can also span any width uninterrupted, and accommodate
unusual shapes, curves and configurations. Additionally, these doors eliminate
any need for headroom, and allow maximum ventilation as well as keyless entry
for after hour access.
ATDC’s smart security doors are supplied to diverse retail stores in shopping centres, malls,
arcades, strip retail, kiosks and pop-up stores to other applications such
as securing showrooms, warehouses, loading docks, offices, reception and
bar counters, schools, hospitals, pubs and hotels, gyms and fitness centres, airports,
railways and various government buildings.
ATDC recently supplied their fold away security barriers and expandable
security doors to Westfield Miranda’s upgrade project where they were installed
in almost 20 stores. These security doors were also supplied to Westfield’s
operations management as well as the Westfield security division who were
seeking greater access control to foodcourts, escalators, travelators and mall entry points.
ATDC’s smart security doors and security barriers allow for keyless
entry for after hour access, making it particularly attractive for use in the 24-hour
gyms and fitness centres opening all over Australia such as Golds Gym, World
Gym and Club Lime among others. ATDC engineers have designed modified mag locks
that accommodate personal swipe cards for electronic access afterhours.
ATDC’s smart range of retractable, expandable security doors is now
available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Hobart and
Darwin.
