Commercial folding closures from The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) have been installed at Flight Centre Group stores across Australia.

One of the largest travel agency groups in the world, Flight Centre Group operates a network of nearly 2800 stores across 14 countries, employing more than 19000 staff. Some of the branded businesses within the group include Escape Travel, Cruise About, Student Flights and Travel Money. ATDC has installed its FC1 wide body (300mm panel) and Slimline FC2 (150mm panel) folding closures with polycarbonate infills across the Group’s stores. Both products are designed for easy operation and low maintenance.

ATDC’s folding closures are suspended with industrial grade top roller bearings from a heavy duty extruded aluminium top track with the curtain’s extruded aluminium sections folding effortlessly through a system of low friction continuous interlocking hinges.

Key design highlights of ATDC’s lightweight folding closures include maximum opening height of 4500mm; ability to span any opening width in a straight-line, curved or S-bend configuration; easy-to-use keyed-alike, seamless up/down locking mechanisms; emergency breakout doors available for egress as per BCA where required; natural anodised or powder coated finish options; and infill options such as toughened glass, solid aluminium or perforated mesh for added ventilation.

ATDC’s lightweight folding closures are recommended for applications in diverse environments including shopping centres, banks, kiosks, hotels, airports, countertops and reception areas. The absence of a bottom track eliminates trip hazards during trading hours.

ATDC’s cutting edge folding closures are sold in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Darwin, and also exported to Hong Kong, Singapore, Brunei and throughout South East Asia, The Pacific Islands and the UAE.
