Tensile designed, engineered and installed the green facade on the award-winning One Central Park building in Sydney. The building was voted the ‘Best Tall Building in the World’ by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in Chicago, USA.
According to Juror and Executive Director of CTBUH, Antony Wood, there have been major advances in the incorporation of greenery in high-rise buildings over the past few years but nothing has been attempted or achieved on the scale of One Central Park.
Tensile’s contribution to the project included the design, engineering and installation of the green facades covering 1800 square metres across the two towers.
