Uniweave by Tascot Carpets is a carpet design and installation technique providing greater flexibility and design options for clients.

By using Uniweave, an Axminster flooring system, our design team are able to treat the floor not as a single dimension but as a blank canvas enabling them to explore grander scales and complex themes.

The terminals at the Darwin International Airport and Alice Springs Airports have recently undergone major refurbishments in order to meet growing demand and enhance the level of passenger service.

A paradigm shift was taken to meet the challenges of creating a unique Northern Territory experience in large open spaces. With the flexibility of Uniweave, Tascot's team created a highly creative, individual carpet design, tailored-made to reflect the nature of the region.

Uniweave provides greater design flexibility without the limitations normally associated with standard patterned carpet. As the carpet is designed to fit the space and not a fixed repeating pattern, waste can be vastly minimised.

Uniweave is cost-effective compared to other weaving methods. Savings of up to 30% can be achieved through waste minimisation and reduced installation costs. Colours can either be selected from Tascot's Colour Cube, comprising of 450 colour tufts, or custom colours can be developed.

Recent Uniweave projects include: Darwin International Airport, Alice Springs Airport, Burswood Entertainment Complex, Parmelia Hilton Hotel and The Observatory Hotel.
