Studco Building Systems recently launched the new Resilmount M319R resilient mount clips for Slimceil low-clearance ceiling systems, designed to meet NCC 2011 static deflection requirements (BCA 2011) even with small ceiling cavities.

A recent trend in high-rise apartments has seen ceiling cavities being reduced to a minimum so as to gain maximum saleable space. Studco launched the patented Slimceil ceiling system in 2009 to meet the demands of such low-clearance ceiling cavities.

Now Studco has released a resilient-mounted version of the Slimceil clips that maintains extremely small ceiling cavities while meeting the criteria of NCC 2011 (static deflection of at least 3mm and a maximum dynamic factor of 1.1).

Key features and benefits of the Resilmount M319R resilient mount clips include:

  • Available in different hardness classes to suit a variety of loads and ceiling systems
  • Various bracket sizes for ceiling cavities ranging from 60mm up to 200mm
  • Can be fixed to concrete, timber or steel structures with a single fixing
  • Designed to accept the Slimceil M355 ceiling channel
