This project is on the entry of one of Brisbane's newest buildings in Mary St, the city. The columns rise to a height up to 16,000mm and there are five of them .
The panels that clad the concrete structures are 1000mm x 650 mm x 30 mm thick and are of polished Indian Granite.
The SB-1 Shelf Angles were chosen for the project because of the fact that they are self supporting each panel.
The 8 MM StoneClips from StoneClip are suitable for this type of cladding but the engineering requirements specify that shelf angles be fixed into position every lift or 3000mm in height and because of the total height of the columns it was decided to totally use SB-1 shelf angles even though the weight factors is only 17kgs/ bracket .
