Stiebel Eltron continues to be the most popular manufacturer of ventilation and air-conditioning solutions in the German building industry. The family-owned company was the recipient of the prestigious ‘Architects' Darling Award’ for 2016.

Stiebel Eltron was selected from a pool of more than 200 manufacturers, based on the professional judgement of 1,600 architects and planners provided as part of the German building industry’s largest survey.

According to Stiebel Eltron head of marketing Claus Kroll-Schlüter, architects are an important point of contact for many builders when it comes to energy-efficient and sustainable construction solutions. Controlled housing ventilation with heat recovery plays a central role in newly built homes and is becoming increasingly important for home renovations.

Therefore, Stiebel Eltron’s selection as the popular favourite of German architects proves that the company not only offers the right products and solutions, but also the right service including comprehensive information and helpful tools available 24/7 on their website in addition to a planning and design service offering 3D drawings and specifications for ventilation projects.

The award was handed over at the gala evening by Dr Thomas Welter, Federal Managing Director of the German Architects Association (BDA), and Jörg Kreuder, General Sales Manager of Heinze.

Stiebel Eltron had won the same award in the Ventilation category in 2014. With the prestigious ‘Renewable Energies’ award won in 2012, the company now has the three ‘Oscars of the Building Industry’.
