Walkway barriers, lookout structures and decking from Stainform Pty Ltd were installed as part of a major upgrade to the Three Sisters walkway in the Blue Mountains, NSW.

The famous Three Sisters is one of NSW’s most popular tourist attractions, drawing approximately two million visitors each year. Commissioned by the National Parks and Wildlife Services, the Three Sisters walkway upgrade project involved revamping the Lady Game and Oreades lookout areas.

The $1.5 million upgrade to the Three Sisters walkway focussed on improving signage, landscaping and visitor safety.

Stainform provided extensive walkway barriers, lookout structures and decking to the upgrade project, with some items needing to be flown in via helicopter for installation. Supported by the Local Council, Federal MPs as well as Blue Mountains, Lithgow and Oberon Tourism, the project is expected to significantly benefit local businesses through increased tourist arrivals.
