Spantech was engaged by the Queensland Air Museum to design and construct a hangar to protect fragile exhibits in the museum’s collection. The Queensland Air Museum is a non-profit community group dedicated to preserving Australia’s aviation heritage.

Designed in the classic Quonset style, the Hangar 1 structure not only protects the most fragile exhibits in the collection, but is also strong enough to support many of the lightweight aircraft and scale models from the arch itself.

The Caloundra, Qld building draws over 12,000 visitors each year.
