Smeg Australia has added to its beautiful, multi-faceted Linear concept range introduced late last year.

As the seventeenth appliance in the Linear range, the PVS750 five gas burner hob features a lush silver glass and satin stainless steel with elegant stainless steel and matte cast iron trivets tipped in red. A centrally placed control panel features tactile polycarbonate knobs that are backlit when in use.

The burner hob is 74cm wide and offers plenty of room for the serious cook, with one ultra-rapid (wok) burner, one rapid, one semi-rapid and two auxiliary burners. All burners feature a super flame failure device that cuts the gas supply within four seconds should the flame be extinguished prematurely.

The energy conserving vertical flame of the PVS750 cooktops is vertical, hitting the underside of the pan without escaping up the sides of the cooking vessel. The low 75mm profile enables an oven, drawers or even a dishwasher to be installed underbench.

PVS750 gas burner hobs require minimum maintenance as the seamless stainless steel and silver glass surface is easy to wipe over and is also finger-print proof. The control knobs of the gas burner hob are removable for easy cleaning while the trivets, burner assemblies and wok stand can all be simply washed in warm, soapy water.

PVS750 gas burner hobs are part of the new Smeg Linear concept and partner a range of multifunction ovens, compact microwave, steam and convection ovens, a warming drawer and coffee machine. This model is supplied with Canali-design control knobs, allowing consumers to install the gas burner hob as part of the Smeg Classic stainless steel kitchen appliance concept.

Available nationally from specialist appliance retailers, electrical outlets and some department stores, Smeg’s PVS750 gas burner hobs carry a two year in home warranty on parts and labour.
