Shaw Contract Group has introduced a new carpet tile collection to their range for corporate, education and retail environments.

The new collection, Color at Work, explores colour in the built environment, and its influence on moods, behaviours, and work styles. Most spaces try to safely balance the two extremes of achromatic and bold palettes. Achromatic palettes are best suited for quiet spaces, while bold colours saturate space to define dynamic, collaborative environments. Shaw Contract Group’s Color at Work collection is a gentle push to embrace the bold.

Underlining the importance of colour in everyday life, Shaw Contract Group General Manager Paul McCosker explains that colour creates a vibe and sets the mood, energising, stimulating and motivating the occupants of the space, and inspiring in designers, new ways of thinking about interior spaces.

The Color at Work collection is available in 23 x 92cm and 46 x 92cm carpet tile sizes, and allows designers to merge and mix the products, regardless of size or design scope.

The Color at Work collection

Achromatic Tile: Measuring 46 x 92cm, the tile combines an infinite geometric pattern in a dynamic overlay, and is available in five colours.

Duotone Tile: A large-scale 46 x 92cm tile that combines saturated colour and subtle neutrals in an ombre wash transitioning colours to neutral in a seamless layout, Duotone comes in 10 colours.

Saturate Tile: Subtly mixing and merging on the floor in a svelte 23 x 92cm plank, Saturate is available in 15 colours.

Value Tile: A bold pattern where hues overlap to create the illusion of pixilation and subtle colourplay, the Value range measures 23 x 92cm and is available in 10 colours.

Color at Work carpet tiles are constructed with premium Eco Solution Q nylon and EcoWorx tile backing, Cradle to Cradle Silver Certified, completely recyclable, and manufactured with recycled content.
