Select Staging Concepts always strive for the best solution to any staging, which is why it has taken the excellent design of the successful QUATTRO Staging Systems and modified it to create an economical alternative.
The PILOT Portable Stages and PILOT Choir Risers are manufactured in-house to Select’s unique design. Although closely based on the QUATTRO design, only an 18mm timber deck is available in a variety of popular timber finishes.
Like the QUATTRO range, the PILOT Staging Systems can be custom-designed to the customer’s unique requirements. The same accessories and leg system is used on the PILOT, but a slightly different aluminium extrusion profile is used. Decks come in the standard size of 2000mm x 1000mm, with alternative sizes available on application. Heights can vary – starting at 200mm up to 1000mm – with an adjustable height leg available, if required.
Designed as a complete kit, the PILOT Choir Riser Kits can accommodate from 50 to 135 people. Straight and curved formats are available, with the standard kits coming in three row packages. Kits with four rows and over come with a hand rail guarding for added protection. Individual deck panels are 2400mm x 500mm as standard, but can be custom-made for different applications such as tiered seating where wider panels are required. Standard heights of the Choir Riser are 200, 400 and 600mm, with customised heights available, if required.
PILOT Choir Riser systems are unique. Select Staging Concepts have developed and manufactured a specialised insert which enables straight deck combinations to become a curved format. These corner inserts are light, strong and simple to add to any of the PILOT decks to create varied and effective combinations.
Additionally, Select Staging Concepts has designed a clever storage trolley, so the staging system doesn’t take up valuable storage space or be difficult to transport and erect.
Using one of the PILOT deck panels as the trolley base, up to 20 PILOT podiums can be stored on top of each other with strong transport wheels for easy manoeuvrability. This means up to 40m2 of staging can be stored in 2m2 of floor space.
