Lightweight bulkhead framing systems from SBS Group were specified for the Stage 40 upgrade project at the Chadstone Shopping Centre in Chadstone, Victoria, on the recommendation of the builder. The Buchan Group was the architect on the project.
Probuild Constructions recommended using lightweight bulkhead framing systems from SBS Group for the Stage 40 upgrade based on their work on a previous refurbishment of Chadstone Shopping Centre.
Working closely with the plastering contractor, SBS Group supplied an extensive range of pre-fabricated complex curved and straight bulkhead frames. SBS Ultra Frame systems were detailed and engineered with superior cantilevering load capacity, replacing the proposed traditional and expensive structural steel.
