    Redstack partnership to deliver advanced 3D capture, scanning and modelling

    Redstack - Formerly IMAGINiT

    South Australian company Redstack - Formerly IMAGINiT is collaborating with local partners Maptek and Avitus UAV Systems to deliver end-to-end reality capture, 3D scanning and 3D modelling solutions.

    Headquartered in North Adelaide, South Australia, Redstack is a leading provider of services and technology to the engineering and architecture community. The new partnerships complement Redstack’s existing relationships with Autodesk, Apple and Makerbot, enabling the Australian company to deliver comprehensive solutions for design, engineering and BIM professionals.

    According to Redstack Managing Director, Michael Lachs, the company is happy to assist Australian companies to grow and thrive in a global marketplace. Redstack is looking forward to introducing Maptek and Avitus’ technologies to their clients throughout Australia and Asia Pacific.

    Maptek is a leading provider of 3D scanning hardware with over 30 years of research and development backing their extensive range of high quality 3D scanning technologies. The partnership with Redstack will extend the reach of Maptek’s industry-leading 3D scanning technologies beyond mining and into the building and construction industry.

    James Moncrieff, Technical Services and Distributor Coordinator at Maptek says that the partnership has enabled them to see exciting applications of their technologies in the architecture and construction industries. 3D scanning is enabling significant safety improvements and efficiency for architects and engineers working on existing sites.

    Avitus UAV Systems offers customised aerial systems for professional aerial photography and videography. Redstack clients benefit from the opportunity to complement their existing design systems with professional aerial products and services.

    Avitus Managing Director Simon Butterworth comments that it’s important to get the right technology to meet specific requirements, given the broad range of UAV technologies on the market. The use of aerial technologies are also governed by complex regulation and licensing requirements.
