Pyropanel Developments has introduced an online version of its fire rated hardware schedule to allow quick and simple referencing by customers.

Australian regulations require each type of door hardware proposed to be used on fire rated doors to be fire tested and approved by a registered test laboratory in a sample fire door. Pyropanel’s fire rated door hardware schedule is 108 pages long and contains over a thousand entries.

Updated as and when new products are approved, the hardware schedule is a difficult document to maintain in currency and distribution for Pyropanel. Customers also find the document difficult to navigate when they are looking for a particular piece of hardware.

Pyropanel worked with ASSA ABLOY Australia IT and two of their customers to develop an online platform with secured access for customers.

The online version of Pyropanel’s hardware schedule ensures the information is always current for customers while the company benefits from not having to spend time answering simple enquiries or release updated schedules at regular intervals.
