A 30 year old house in The Crescent Vaucluse has direct water frontage onto Parsley Bay and Sydney Harbour and good views to the Harbour Bridge.

Unfortunately, the house had been waterproofed previously using a liquid membrane that failed.

The owners needed a membrane that could withstand the salt water spray, remain exposed to UV and could be laid directly over the existing failed liquid membrane.

They chose Aviva Waterproofing Systems’ AV001F PVC sheet membrane – complete with its steel system to waterproof the roof.

The AV001F PVC sheet membrane was adhered to the roof and the existing solar system was reinstalled over the top of the membrane with welded membrane straps securing the solar system to the main membrane.

Aviva was selected over similar membrane systems not only because of its physical qualities but because it is economical.

The installation was carried out by Supertuff Waterproofing, experienced waterproofing contractors, in both remedial and new situations.

AV001F PVC sheet membrane is available from Projex Group .
